Let’s start with a simple truth – your business needs a presence on social media. Why? Because social media is an essential piece of your business marketing. Social platforms help you connect with your customers, increase awareness about your brand and help you to boost leads and sales. So what is the most effective way to build your business through social media?

Extending on our September Business Series on Marketing for Translators and Interpreters, we’ll be guided by Marketing Specialist Bindi McGrath  and Social Media Expert Casey McKenna on what makes social media so important for your business marketing.

This one and a half hour webinar will explore the following:

  • What is brand identity and how to build your brand through social media
  • Why social media is important for business – this will provide a quick background on the importance of social media for building and growing your business
  • Which social media platforms are right for me – we will explore the various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube) and investigate which platforms are right for different industries
  • The importance of developing a social media strategy – this will include details as to what you SHOULD include

  • Setting up your profile and bios – what information SHOULD you include and why
  • But what should I post to my social media accounts – here we look at ways to generate content that engages your target audience and ways to schedule content to make life easier
  • Social media to support your SEO strategy – yep, that’s right, social media should form part of your SEO strategy and here we investigate why.

  • What metrics should I be reporting on – this will help you determine if you have met, or exceeded your goals set out in your strategy, or if there needs to be improvement
