The Australian Privacy Commissioner reports that data breaches are on the rise and community trust is declining - a combination that can have disastrous consequences for cultural advisors and translation services for whom maintaining trust of community and corporate clients is currency. These clients rely on us to maintain transparent, accountable and secure information practices; in particular, in our management of their personal information. Privacy program management and acculturation expert, Nicole Stephensen, will speak about the importance of good privacy practice in small business environments and share her tips for getting it right.
