Notice of AUSIT Extraordinary General Meeting

Notice is hereby given
in accordance with Clause 10.1 of the
AUSIT Constitution,  that an
Extraordinary General Meeting
of AUSIT will be held on Saturday 26 June 2021
from 1.00pm to 1.30pm AEST
by Zoom video conference

You may have taken part in the voting for AUSIT Constitutional changes late last year.

To complete the administrative procedures so these changes can be lodged with the responsible regulatory body Access Canberra, these changes must be passed as special resolutions in an e-General Meeting. For these special resolutions to pass, we need a quorum of at least 50 paid financial members and three quarters voting for the special resolutions.

The Agenda for the meeting will be:

If you cannot attend but would like to vote, pursuant to provisions of clause 10.5 of the Constitution, it will be possible for Proxies  to be appointed.  Proxy forms  should be emailed to  as.asst@ausit.org   by COB on Wednesday 23 June 2021 to avoid delays on the day of the EGM.  No member may hold more than 25 proxies (clause 10.4.6 of the Constitution).

As this meeting will be held by Zoom video conference, registration is essential.

The login details for the meeting will be sent to registered participants a few days before the meeting.

This meeting will NOT be recorded.
