Notice of National AGM
Saturday 22 November 2025, 9:00am AEDT
Dear AUSIT Members,
This is a reminder that the 38th National Annual General Meeting of AUSIT will be held from 9:00 to 10:15am on Saturday 22 November 2025 in the Manning Clark Hall (Lowitja O'Donohue Centre), at the Australian National University (ANU) Canberra, ACT.
In order to ensure that an accurate record is kept of members attending the AGM, members will need to check in at a registration desk to be set up at the main door of the auditorium. For those already attending the National Conference, this check-in is separate from conference registration.
To avoid lengthy queues, check-in for the AGM will be open from 8:15am and participants are encouraged to arrive early.
As members check-in, they will be given a ticket to indicate their voting status. This ticket will need to be shown to ushers inside the auditorium on entry.
The Agenda for the AGM is:
1. Welcome and confirmation of quorum;
2. Confirmation of Minutes of 37th National AGM (NAGM Minutes PDF);
3. Presentation of National President’s Report;
4. Presentation of National Treasurer’s Report and tabling of audited accounts;
5. Presentation of National Secretary’s Report;
6. Tabling of Reports by national positions;
7. Tabling of Branch Committee Reports;
8. Ratification of results of poll on Constitutional changes (Explanatory PDF);
9. Election of National Office-Bearers;
10. Announcement of date and venue for the 39th National AGM.
After each of items 3 to 7, there will be an opportunity for questions from the floor before the motion to accept the report(s) is moved. In accordance with Clause 10.1 of the AUSIT Constitution, no other business will be transacted at this meeting.
All the Reports referred to above, and the minutes of the 37th National AGM, will be available in the Member’s Portal section of the AUSIT website (member login required), under Governance Documents > Annual governance documents (member login required).
