Ethics for Translators and Interpreters

Presentation and Workshop

Thursday 19 March 2020

Dear Colleague

You are invited to attend a presentation followed by a workshop on the ethics of the profession.

This workshop will provide you with a valuable opportunity to refresh your knowledge on the AUSIT Code of Ethics and participate in solving ethical dilemmas that you may encounter in your day to day professional life.

The application of the Code of Ethics can prove a complex and delicate exercise at times. Practitioners can be left wondering whether the choices they make are truly in accordance with our ethical principles.

Through peer-generated discussion, we will endeavour to discover how to best apply unbiased and balanced professional judgement to some challenging real-life scenarios.

This training event counts for 10 points towards NAATI recertification (2.20 Industry Engagement: Ethics Sub-category).
