Event CLOSED

A short online intensive professional development course for those struggling with effective English pronunciation and speech. Suitable for those who have problems in clear pronunciation and speech. Individual feedback will be given on participants’ pronunciation, as well as intensive practice in the sessions. This short course is sponsored by RMIT University and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, Victorian Government. There are only 15 spots available.

Run over 5 X 2-hour session: 5 straight weeks on Wednesday evenings at 6pm, starting April 19, ending May 17 (AEST).

Biography - Dr. Uldis Ozolins

Dr Uldis Ozolins is one of Australia’s leading teachers and authors on Interpreting & Translation. He has taught at several universities and has published internationally. In 2022 together with colleagues at RMIT he introduced a research-based course designed for aspiring interpreters facing difficulties in English pronunciation and grammar.

Certificates and recordings:
Certificates for PD purposes and copies of recordings (if available) may take approximately two (2) weeks to be released following the event.
