Biography - Jason Willis-Lee

Jason Willis-Lee, MITI, is a full-time freelance Spanish-English and French-English medical translator living in Madrid. He specializes in the niche fields of clinical trials, medical reports and academic research articles. Jason also enjoys training colleagues working in the field and has given presentations on various topics to ProZ, Chartered Institute of Linguists, BP Translation conferences, MET and Training for Translators. His background includes a physiology degree from Bristol Medical School and a brief stint as a clinical research associate before switching to applied linguistics and earning a postgraduate degree in translating and interpreting from the University of Bath. Jason recently launched a podcast called Turn Yourself into a Booked out Freelance Translator that now has over 100 downloads a month. He is also the creator of the online course Become a Booked out Freelance Translator.
