AUSIT QLD Branch Social Breakfast - Meet AUSIT's New President

A catch up with colleagues over brunch with an opportunity to hear from AUSIT's new President: Carl Gene Fordham. 10am on Saturday 22 February at The Gardens Club in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens.

The AUSIT QLD Branch is kicking off our 2025 activities with a social gathering at the beautiful Gardens Club Café in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens on Saturday 22nd February at 10am.

This is an opportunity to start the year connecting with colleagues and strengthening the local T&I community, in line with the Queensland’s Branch focus theme for 2025: Solidarity.

At this event we will also welcome AUSIT’s new President, Carl Gene Fordham, and have an opportunity to hear his vision for the organisation, share ideas, discuss priorities and ask questions.

The Gardens Club Café is a non-profit venture whose goal is to address disadvantage by helping Australians from marginalised communities gain employment and training. Attendees will be able to purchase food and drinks from the café’s menu prepared mostly using locally sourced ingredients.

This event is free to attend. We’d be delighted if you could join us!

Please note any food and drink you consume at the event is at your own expense.

Places are limited, so please register online by Wednesday 19th February to ensure you don’t miss out.

If you know of any interpreters or translators who aren’t yet members of AUSIT, this would be a good opportunity to introduce them to our activities and function.
