Join us for this essential discussion on fostering resilience, reducing stress and anxiety, and practising self-care as a translator or interpreter.

Working as an interpreter and/or translator can be highly rewarding, however, the nature of this work can also place interpreters and translators at risk of experiencing high levels of stress, anxiety and burnout. This training will focus on understanding the sources and impacts of stress and anxiety unique to translators and interpreters, while also introducing self care as well as effective coping strategies.

This presentation will focus on:

  • Better understanding stress and psychological stress;
  • Better understanding anxiety and anxiety management;
  • Exploring self-care and what self-care means to you?
