By popular demand, we’re thrilled to bring back our language-specific virtual Meet & Greet sessions!
Whether you’re reconnecting with familiar faces or expanding your network, this is your chance to engage with fellow translators and interpreters in your language community.
Networking with fellow translators and interpreters—especially those who share your working language—is one of the best ways to stay engaged and grow professionally. Building new connections can lead to exciting collaborations, mentorship opportunities, and friendships that enrich your career.
Our Meet and Greet Sessions offer a dedicated space for colleagues to reflect, share, and grow together!
Find your language(s) below and register to join the conversation. Breakout rooms will be available for each language group.
Session 1: Tuesday April 15th, 7-8:30pm AEST
Mandarin, French, German, Indonesian, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese
Session 2: Wednesday April 16th, 7-8:30pm AEST
Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Spanish, Thai, Cantonese, Ukrainian
Note: These languages are selected based on attendance from last year's meet & greet events. If you'd like a session organised for your language, please contact us at pd@ausit.org.
Joining the Webinar
The Zoom link for the webinar will be sent out one day prior to the event. Please ensure you have downloaded the latest version of Zoom in preparation.
PD Points and Certificates
As this is a networking event, it is eligible for PD points according to the NAATI recertification catalogue category 1.6. Please utilise your registration confirmation email to claim participation as no PD Certificates will be issued.
