The AUSIT WA Branch Annual General Meeting for 2025 will be held on Saturday, 13 September 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00pm, at the University of WA, Room AGRI [G013] Agriculture Lecture Theatre, Crawley Campus Perth.
The Annual General Meeting is a chance for language professionals in WA to catch up, hear about the work of the AUSIT WA branch and get involved with your committee.
The AGM will be preceded by a professional development session on Radiation Therapy Terminology, by GenesisCare, and will be FREE as part of your registration for the AGM.
GenesisCare is a proudly Australian-run cancer care provider, specialising in radiation therapy with a growing footprint in medical oncology, theranostics and personalised medicine.

GenesisCare Wembley Centre Leader
Jeremy is a New Zealand-trained Radiation Therapist with more than 20 years’ experience in the field. He has gained radiation oncology experience within vastly different health services in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland, in both public and private practice. During his tenure as a radiation therapist, Jeremy took a keen interest in patient immobilisation and technologies that supported advanced treatment techniques, however the patients have remained his passion, particularly supporting them through their cancer journey.
After moving to Australia in 2011, Jeremy started working for GenesisCare at their Wembley & Royal Perth Hospital services, before becoming part of the foundation team that opened the new and expanded radiation oncology service at Fiona Stanley Hospital in 2015. Since then, Jeremy has had leadership roles as Unit Leader Radiation Therapist, and then Centre Leader for the new GenesisCare Hollywood service from 2020. After a 2-year period managing both the Wembley & Hollywood services, Jeremy is now solely based out of the Wembley site and is focussed on building on the already impressive 50-year history of radiation therapy being delivered on site to support WA cancer patients.
Schedule of the event and AGM
3:00 to 4:00 pm – Radiation Therapy Terminology, professional development session
4:00 to 4:15pm – Short break and afternoon tea: light refreshments and networking opportunity provided during the break, before the start of the AGM.
4:20 to 5:00 pm – Branch AGM
Election of Branch Committee
Nominations are invited for the 2025-2026 WA Branch Committee.
All committee positions will be declared vacant at the start of the AGM, so if you are willing to get involved with the committee and contribute to shaping the future of our profession, get in touch now!

If you would like to vote in the Annual General Meeting, please ensure that you have renewed your AUSIT membership for 2025-26. Non-financial members are welcome to attend as observers.
