Interpreting and translation carry a hidden emotional load. Rendering distressing content in healthcare, legal, and other community settings, while staying impartial and often working alone, can quietly wear us down long before we recognise that burnout is taking hold. Left unaddressed, it can affect our physical health, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and ability to work effectively.

This training explores what burnout is, how it develops, and how to recognise its early warning signs before they become more serious. Participants will learn practical, evidence-informed strategies to help prevent burnout, support recovery, and manage everyday stress, along with self-care habits they can sustain over time.

The session encourages reflection and provides tools to maintain wellbeing and create a healthier balance in both professional and personal life. Whether you are early in your career or well established, you will leave with practical approaches you can apply straight away.
