Learn practical strategies to identify, approach and build lasting
relationships with direct clients
Agency consolidation and downward rate pressure are leading many translators and interpreters to think about marketing to direct clients, perhaps for the first time. But knowing where to begin can be challenging. How do you identify organisations or individuals that need your expertise? What makes a potential client respond to an introduction? And how can you position yourself as a trusted language professional?
In this 90-minute session, we'll discuss how to identify potential direct clients, how to market to them, and how to position yourself as an attractive option for direct clients who need a translator or interpreter. We'll look at e-mail scripts that direct clients are likely to respond to, how to make the best use of LinkedIn, and how to use online and in-person client side events as marketing tools.
